Dual-Stage Protection Design: Our RJ45S-E100 Ethernet Surge Protector features an innovative two-stage protection circuit, consisting of a Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) and a Diode Block (DB), which work together with a Resistor (R) to provide superior surge protection for your Ethernet network. The GDT provides the first stage of coarse protection, while the DB offers the second stage of fine protection, ensuring the safety of sensitive equipment.
Efficient Discharge Capability: This design ensures that during extreme surge conditions, overvoltage and overcurrent are quickly and effectively discharged to the ground, thereby protecting your network devices.
Simple Installation and Earthing: Housed in an aluminum enclosure with RJ45 connectors, this surge protector can be easily mounted as an adapter plug. Earthing is achieved via a connecting line, making the operation convenient.
The Ethernet Surge Protector RJ45S-E100 features a sturdy aluminium housing and a compact structure, making it easy to integrate into various professional network environments. It meets DIN 43880 dimensional standards with a size of 82.5 × 25 × 25 mm, ensuring space-saving installation.
For bulk supply, the packaging measures 260 × 220 × 330 mm and contains 84 units per carton. This makes it ideal for large-scale deployment in Ethernet, twisted pair, and control circuit protection projects.
The Ethernet Surge Protector (Model: RJ45S-E100) is designed to provide effective overvoltage protection for your Ethernet network. Its simple adapter plug design makes the installation process highly convenient.
Determine Installation Location: Install the RJ45S-E100 upstream of the Ethernet device that needs protection (e.g., Network Attached Storage, NAS), close to the network switch or router.
Connect Ethernet Cable: Insert the Ethernet cable coming from the network switch or router into the “In” port of the Ethernet Surge Protector.
Connect Protected Device: Use another Ethernet cable to connect the “Out” port of the Ethernet Surge Protector to the device you want to protect (e.g., Network Attached Storage, NAS).
Grounding: Ensure the Ethernet Surge Protector is reliably grounded via the connecting line (PE) to effectively divert overvoltages and lightning currents.
Please note that proper grounding is crucial for the effective operation of a surge protection device. Refer to the provided application example diagram to ensure correct connection and grounding.
Application Example
